CVE-2024-2090 - Remote Content Shortcode Plugin
The Remote Content Shortcode plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Server-Side Request Forgery in all versions up to, and including, 1.5 via the remote_content shortcode. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to make web requests to arbitrary locations originating from the web application and can be used to query and modify information from internal services.

CVE-2024-2089 - Remote Content Shortcode Plugin
The Remote Content Shortcode plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'remote_content' shortcode in all versions up to, and including, 1.5 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user supplied attributes. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers with contributor-level and above permissions to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.
