CVE-2024-12018 - Snippet Shortcodes Plugin

The Snippet Shortcodes plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to unauthorized Shortcode Deletion due to missing authorization in all versions up to, and including, 4.1.6. Note that a nonce is used as authentication here, but the value is leaked. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Subscriber-level access and above, to delete the plugin's Shortcodes.

CVE-2024-4543 - Snippet Shortcodes Plugin

The Snippet Shortcodes plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Cross-Site Request Forgery in all versions up to, and including, 4.1.4. This is due to missing or incorrect nonce validation when adding or editing shortcodes. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to modify shortcodes via a forged request granted they can trick a site administrator into performing an action such as clicking on a link.
